Bland
Lemon Denton, the
World's Oldest (and Worst) Bluesman,
is currently recording
the first album of his 89-year
career:
BLAND
LEMON DENTON AT THE EARTH'S CORE.
The compact disc will
feature cover art by James Hollaman, and the
album's songs will also be
available online in mp3 format.
While writing, recording, and mixing AT THE EARTH'S
CORE,
Bland Lemon has
authorized us to
post demo versions of some of its
songs.
These demos, although
of lesser quality than the versions
being
prepared for the album,
nevertheless
possess
the almost irresistible
characteristics of being both 1) available right
now, and 2) free.
One of the original
songs closest to Bland Lemon's 113-year-old
heart,
and the first demo version being released
here, is "Forgiveness
."

Lemon performed "Forgiveness" with fellow
axman
David Lee
Anderson at James
Hollaman's RoomCon IV (RoomCon of
the Dead) during Kansas City's
ConQuesT in May 2008. A portion of this
performance was captured on video (mpeg)

enjoyment. Or whatever reaction
you may have.
"Forgiveness"
has also been performed onstage in Houston and
Dallas by Bland Lemon Denton and the
Lemon-Aides (Bland Lemon
